Who booms out "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida"
on a easy drizzling, azalea studded
Tuesday night in Spring? If lightning
doesn't strike directly, I do believe
I'll have to crack open another beer,
drown out the noise with evanescent fizz.

Thanks so much for putting the song back in my head again - now I can't make it leave! omg but those were the days, eh? The poem appeals to me on several layers and especially the song (omg), azaleas because I love them, lightning, and the choice words "evanescent fizz" - primo!
